How would I go about running OpenSolaris on my macbook. I don't want to use it virtualized I want to dual boot.

Also can i make a non-destructive partition on my drive using disk utility or will I loose Leopard.

thanks in advance

If I was a betting man, I would not expect OpenSolaris to run properly at all on a MacBook. OpenSolaris is notorious for poor hardware support, and is unlikely to support such a hardware configuration. All the best though. Try using the BootCamp Assistant to create a partition, then use C to boot off the CD. You may also want to check out Refit.

Edit: Check this page:

They identify the trackpad doesn't work, which may or not be a problem for you.
