    Hey,
As a Linux PPC user, I find myself compiling stuff occasionally because ready-made DEBs are not available for everything. Examples are PowderToy, MiniTube and a psp2psx convertor. Is anybody interested in posting compiled PPC binaries here? and anybody interested in using them? :) I can post Powder Toy in a bit

Whilst I no longer have a working PPC Linux install myself, I think it's a great idea.

Unfortunately on Debian wheezy Minitube won't compile. Too many unmet dipendences. BUT there is greasemonkey with viewtube and vlc browser player so, youtube it's fine. Not as fast as Smtube or Minitube, but fine.

A useful app I compiled is Megatools, it allows you to download, upload, and manage your online storage on Mega.nz trough the Linux console. I've tried it myself and it works great, much better and faster than it is in browser.
