I don't remember installing opera at all. But when I was opening a torrent file, opera launched itself. When I look inside of my applications folder, there is no opera app and the only instance of its existance is in the library application support folder. [When I open the folder and click on the about opera file, it will also launch opera.] How do I get rid of this. Not that I don't like opera, but it feels a bit odd. AppZapper does not detect it at all if that helps.

Discovered the same thing after I installed CS3... I first became aware of it when right-clicking a .png file, and Opera showed-up in my choice of "open with" programs. I was like "WTF?!?!"

oooh. okay. I did install CS3. That is so weird though. First they do a funky uninstall thing and now they sneak in programs.

Opera has been included with Flash at least since MX. However, in the past it's been in the Flash folder in your applications folder, and not in application support.
