Opera 9.1 Password Confusion

I just downloaded Opera 9.1 dated 12.13.06. When I try to log into Forum Spy (FS), it acts like I am in but then when it returns to the FS page I'm still not logged in and can't see my preferences including my Buddies in yellow. But I successfully logged in outside of FS and so when I go outside the FS page I am in with all my usualy priviledges.

I went in to Opera prefs and deleted my first Wand Password that I had made when I first tried to log in at the FS page and then re-did it making sure to check "for this page only" before confirming "Save". But it still went out welcoming me to MacRumors and in only to find myself not in when it returned to the FS page.

I am also in under Safari. I tried all the above while logged out from Safari. Still no luck. Any Opera fans know what's going on and if so how I can successfully log into the FS page?

You do understand that Forum Spy is for vistors, but not for registered users, don't you?
