Opinion. 40mm too small? Pics inside

I always thought that the 42mm was just a tad too big for my 170mm wrists and the 38mm was too small. So 40mm seemed just right. But now I have it I am undecided. Part of this is because I was just used to the larger size.

Opinions:

Silver is my old 42mm and black is the new 40mm

IMO the 42 looks too big in that first pic and the black watch looks better. I don't feel you want the watch to be bigger than the wrist, but to sit in the middle allowing some curve of the strap around the wrist.

Ive got a paper cutout of the 44 here and it looks great... when it wraps around. Put it on some card and made it as thick as the watch and it doesnt sit right.

I think the 40mm looks like the perfect size, if you want it to look like a watch.

Any bigger and it will look like a nerdy device.
