Opinions - Gold or Platinum wedding bands for men?

Does anyone have reliable titanium or rings made by cobalt suppliers or stores? My fiance is hunting for a more conventional men's band in silver tone (no rivets, not black/graphite/color stripes, antler, etc.) and it seems that these exist at a reasonably large range of price points and from different retailers on Etsy, Amazon, etc.

My gold one is sitting in my top dresser drawer.

I now wear a black silicone one for safety.
