    I have the opportunity to buy a early 2015 MB Pro 13" I5, 8gb, & 256ssd. For $800 2 weeks old... Do you think i should pull the trigger?

    can the seller produce proof of purchase? make sure it is not stolen.

    Yep. He sent a picture of the original receipt.

    That's a $1500 computer for $800. They say if it sounds too good to be true, it probably is.

    Either the seller is stupid or there's something fishy going on. Beware.

    That retails for 1499. No way anyone is legitimately selling it for 1500.


    Well, I can think of two possibilities that could be possibly viewed as semi-legitimate.

    1. Student who has not spent wisely needs to sell a gift to cover tuition / books / credit card bill / etc.

    2. Relationship breakup, selling for spite.

    3. Newly minted crack fiend. Not stolen from a stranger, but selling his own stuff or that of a close relative / housemate.

    4. Apparently I can not count to two.
