China and India have 2 of the top 3 CDMA carriers in the world.

Yet China Telecom (CDMA200) 74mil customers last reported.

But China Mobile (GSM, TD-SCDMA, TD-HSDPA, TD-LTE: 564 million customers

China Unicom (GSM+UMTS/HSPA): 156mil customers

Really Apple should have targeted China Mobile lol.

My point being, CDMA exists in both China and India. The post I quoted implied these countries were GSM only.

And yes, 74 Mil is less than 564 mil. However, between China, India, and the US, there is a sufficient market to make Apple a very nice profit on a CDMA iPhone. If there weren't, other manufacturers would have stopped making CDMA phones completely.
