I am going to buy a Vertex 3(have one for my desktop, amazing) for my MBP 13. I'm also going to keep my HDD in, so I'll use one of those 2nd HDD caddy things. I'll get both a HDD caddy and external superdrive adapter from ebay. I just looked in System Information and it looks like my DVD SATA is 6Gbps:
This means I can just install the SSD there right? There shouldn't be any difference if I replace the HDD with the SSD and put the HDD in the optical drive space and just putting the SSD right in the optical bay. I read and saw videos on YouTube and everyone put their SSD's in the normal hard drive space since that was the only one with 6Gbps but since both are 6Gbps it should work fine, right?

Seeing you have the 13" MacBook Pro, then from people's test, that should be a good, yes you can.
