iPhone 12 Pro Optimised battery charging finally works!

So I’ve been trying to get this feature to work for ages, since it was first announced. Always charged each night at the same time on a belkin charger from an apple store. Tonight I used a MagSafe charger and optimised battery charging finally worked. So if anyone has the same issue then get a MagSafe charger.

Optimized charging has always worked for me on my X and then on my 12P using an Anker 7.5W wireless adapter.

Hit or miss for me. Works for awhile then nothing for no apparent reason.. I stopped trying to figure it out and just wait to see when the notification shows up on the lock screen...

Never worked for me on any of my iPhones, dating back to the 6S or whenever it launched. Do I need to have any particular location services enabled cuz I have most of them disabled

Yes, you need location services and significant locations enabled. See: https://support.apple.com/en-us/HT210512
