Optimized battery charging problem

Hello, can you help me please. Since updating my iphone to ios 17, optimized battery charging stopped working. On ios 16 it worked fine, every knight it charged till 80 percent and wrote notification that it would charge other 20% in the morning. It was best function for me. But since updating to ios 17 it stopped. Optimized battery charging is turned on, also location services, system customization

And significant locations are also turned on. Do i have to wait some days, but I’m waiting for this funcion since ios 17 update evening😞or what should i do to return back my favorite function? Please help. Thank you in advance

Sounds like a bug. You should report it via the Apple support app on your phone. In the meantime, try turning optimization off, reboot, then turn it back on and reboot again.

I've never had luck with this feature. It would give me a notification that the battery would be charged by 4AM but my regular waking time is closer to 7AM. So optimization always baffles me. But hope you get it fixed.

"Optimized Battery Charging needs at least 14 days to learn your charging habits, so it won't engage before then. Also, your iPhone needs to experience at least 9 charges of 5 hours or more in a given location for Optimized Battery Charging to engage."

I assume that using a new device in some way alters past settings, but perhaps I am mistaken...
