I've been running Boot Camp rather well for the past three weeks. Yesterday, I couldn't swap boot drives (devices) by holding down Option at boot. Using the Startup preference pane works just fine in OS X and Windows though.
I've already tried Disk Utility too so don't suggest that. I think this is more of a firmware issue that just popped up.
