option to move status bar?

Is there an option to restore the iOS 11 status bar (i.e. clock in the center without the date) in lieu of the cluttered corners and wasted space in the center that is the iOS 12 default? I haven't found it but hopefully someone knows...

There is no such option to meet this change. The only hope is they do this by generation of iPad, just like iPhone.
