Yes, i'm not super happy about the paltry 700MB. At least round it up to a gig!

I'm been with Optus since my first phone, never would consider Telstra but I'm a little disappointed in the Optus iPhone plans.
This is what I want. $80 = $500 calls, unlimited text, 2GB (minimum) data, and the iPhone for free on a 12 month contract.
I'm still going to get a 16GB black iPhone 3G with Optus on a 12 month for $79 per month.

yeah i REALLY don't wanna be paying $45 for a $19 cap for the 16gb iphone.
Hopefully we can pay $330 or $220 for our phone, and walk out of the store aswell as our contracts.

Yeah, I'm gonna run-a-muk all up in the apple store! and possibly run away with my free iPhone, and jailbreak it with anysim. Yeah... I've got my backup plan.
To be honest, I doubt you'll see a plan like that in Australia at all.

Hummm free iphone in most places other than the us, but no unlimited internet. And in the us we don't get a free phone but unlimited internet. Some shape or form i feel like we are all getting robbed.
yes most other countries hav unlimited internet.
its just our telco landscape here in aust we get neither
not a chance here 4 unlimited net on anything 3g/3.5g [ 4 a few years anyway...]
its all about the revenue share w the telcos round the world... hence the apple centres in aust not even getting to sell em at all...
but yes if u get given with one hand... it gets seems 2 taken away with the other...
