Apple has confirmed that there will be a limit of (1) one watch per customer.

Oh well, time to get creative!

Interesting... I'm sure you can get around it using different Apple IDs but I'm just gonna order the SS w/ white band.

I'm not saying that's not as it may well be but a chat with an Apple Customer service rep is in no way a confirmation of it and the thread title is misleading. Any information from these kind of sources has to be taken with a pinch of salt. Unless Apple makes an official statement it's still debatable what the actual limit is.

I have made numerous attempts through chat at finding the answer. For the last week the reps have told me that this information has not been disseminated.

Well, today that changed.

That doesn't necessarily mean it's true. It may well be but such chat isn't a confirmation. Not that it matters to me as I'm only preordering one for myself.

i see what your saying but alot of them are saying theres a limit.

I wonder if that means we won't be able to make a try-on appointment if we have already placed a pre-order.

Chat just told me one per, but to "check back at 12:01" for further information

same but also gave me

There will be a limit, we just do not know what it is until the pre-order kicks off this evening. When you order, if the amount you have put in your cart exceeds the limit you will be advised.

Indeed, so lets say - as an example : you added 5 Apple Watch, when you went to the cart, it would you have exceeded the limit in Red text, please adjust the limit to continue with the order ** Again, example**

so there's a higher chance there will be a limit, practical number i can think would be 2 or max 3

well you can always use different id , card and maybe office address?

^^^ Same response for me too. 2 watch max.

saying that, i've got two apple ID's set up with different cards..

Well, I just got off the phone with someone at 1-800-MY-APPLE and they told me I can purchase 2 watches no problem (one for me, one for the girlfriend).

yup just like i said practical logic would be 2 or heck maybe max 3 per customer. if you doing more than that your not buying it yourself lol your gonna resale them most likely

----------

did everyone missed it ? lol just ran across this thing.

A number of units will be delivered on the 24th but it is unlikely every unit ordered tomorrow will be delivered on the 24th. This depends on how many units are ordered for a specific SKU compared to the supply we have of that specific SKU. This isn’t different from other new products. Sometimes demand exceed supply for a period of time. I can assure you we are working around the clock to get as many units to customers as fast as possible.
There will be an order limit of 2.

The Badger fans and team were very classy. Of course, I loved the outcome but it was one of those games either team could have won.
