I am wondering if the order limit of 2 is still in effect or can I purchase another watch having bought 2 already?

Was it ever actually in effect? I know I've heard many people talk about ordering more than 2. Were they using separate accounts or something?

If your other 2 already arrived I don't see why not. If they are still processing, I'm not sure. Even when they were randomly canceling people who ordered more than 2, it seems like it didn't happen to more than a few people for some reason.

four

I ended up ordering four, what with sizing issues and market opportunities ;-)

I ordered a SS Classic Buckle and this morning it was cancelled, citing order limits.

I have tried to find a limit on the Apple Watch, but have not been able to see it expressed.

I also had 3 other Sports in my order history, so I'm wondering if its a Pre-Shipment Check?

Regardless, its kind of a bummer. I have a big family and wanted these for gifts.

Cheers

Chris

Bummer! I wanted a third one as a gift as well. I just spoke to an Apple sales specialist and she said it's two watches and 4 bands per household at this moment citing supply constraints. Hopefully this changes soon!

Im in a chat trying to see where it is expressed in writing that there is a 2 watch limit.

They keep saying they will pull up that info, but it seems they can't find it either.

Will keep everyone posted.

I had a white sport already delivered, with a black sport on order from launch.

Recently ordered a SS BSB. The SS and SG have been processing for over a week.

I'm assuming I'm safe!? I would be very very upset if they canceled my SG.

But I'm guessing they would have already done that? Or canceled my last placed order, the SS?

Welcome to Apple.
What can we do for you today?

Wondering why W502567XXX was canceled, email says there is a limit to how many watches can be ordered, but I am trying to see where it is expressly stated.

Please wait while I connect you with an Apple Sales Specialist.

Now Chatting with Carrie

Hi! Welcome to the Apple Online Store! My name is Carrie. Sure! I would be happy to help you with your order!

Thank you! Will you please verify your name and billing address for me please?

We do have a 2 watch limit right now until further notice, I’m sorry.

Hi Carrie

Hi!

i know you are just the messenger, but where is this expressly stated?

How are you?

I'm fine, but i was trying to get my mother a gift for mothers day

Let me grab the information for you. Just one moment please.

Aww, that’s so sweet! I’m sorry for the trouble.

May I have your name and billing address?

REDACTED

Thank you! Yes, I do show that your watch was cancelled, I’m sorry.

I'm just wondering where its stated about the 2 watch limit. I could have saved some frustration and gotten the watch on time for mothers day

I know you guys deal with a lot of first world problems

but now I need to tell my mother to order it on her own, and I will have to reimburse her. Kinda tacky...

Sure! Let me grab the information for you.

is there anything you can do to help?

Let me see what I can do.

Our policy states 2 watches, 4 band. The quantity limit may change as product availability changes.

Thanks Carrie. However, where is it posted for us to see? Sorry to keep hammering you about this, but Its only fair that this policy is stated. When iPhone launches, this policy is prominent. With the watch, I've seen nothing.

i know you have better things to do, just disappointed. Sorry

very "un-apple like" with this launch

I understand completely. This was a policy put into place as the the preorders were released. We have had a huge demand. I’m sure that once we’re finished with the preorders, things may change. I’m sorry for the trouble.

any concessions that you can make? I'll have to ask my mother to get her own watch, and thats kinda poopy

again, thanks for your help

I understand, I’m sorry. I’m a Mom too and I have a Mom so I really understand.

The good news is, we’re very understanding Ladies.

Please keep checking back to see if the limit is lifted soon.

You can also give us a call anytime at 1-800-676-2775 if that’s more convenient for you.

Would you like the feedback page to let us know if your own words how you feel?

thanks anyways

Since there are still people who are waiting for watches which are not even scheduled to arrive until JULY, I think Apple is being fair and sensible to limit the number of watches anyone can order. Why should someone be able to order FOUR watches when there is someone still waiting to finally get ONE?

Its not about that. Its about stating a policy in WRITING where those who are ordering it can see it.

Also, its about supply and demand. Just because I've ordered four or more watches, doesn't mean that I will GET four of them before the person who ordered 1. I am willing to wait my turn.

Regardless, we can agree to disagree, but its about stating a policy in writing, instead of applying policy after the fact.

I'll be on the side of agreeing to disagree. ;) It don't believe it needs to be in writing. But since you insist... there's a clause:

http://store.apple.com/us/open/salespolicies

Fair enough, but an asterisk or a note on the order page would go a long way. Still, the T&C doesn't mention the Apple Watch explicitly, instead they that they reserve the right to cancel any order at any time, for any reason.

Good Luck everyone.

I'm not going to be one of those who will say

"Steve wouldn't have let this happen"
"I'm done with Apple"
"Life is over"

Make a new apple ID, using a different credit card.

I did this for my third (shipped).

I personally wouldn't be as bothered by not seeing it in writing as much as bothered that they couldn't tell me this at the time I ordered with an immediate refusal, rather than accepting the order then canceling later.

http://9to5mac.com/2015/04/09/apple...nch-period-expects-demand-to-outstrip-supply/

A number of units will be delivered on the 24th but it is unlikely every unit ordered tomorrow will be delivered on the 24th. This depends on how many units are ordered for a specific SKU compared to the supply we have of that specific SKU. This isn’t different from other new products. Sometimes demand exceed supply for a period of time. I can assure you we are working around the clock to get as many units to customers as fast as possible.

There will be an order limit of 2.

The Badger fans and team were very classy. Of course, I loved the outcome but it was one of those games either team could have won.

Tim

I know people want to see it ON THE SITE but it's not like there has been zero communication regarding this policy.
