Much to my surprise in last 2 minutes the second order I made - 32 classic buckle - has just surprised me (I ordered it a day later at 11h20 French time ) - pop up from Apple Store - has just been dispatched - will also be here tomorrow. It was in processing until then and I assumed wouldn't be making it.

Mine has left the UPS depot at Marseille airport, and out for delivery. The UPS guys usually deliver in the afternoon here, once their priority runs of before 9 and 10am are complete.
I have an email from about personal set up video with my order number correct etc. It's addressed to somebody else - a completely different name... Nadia... :S
Mine is at Chilly-mazarin (delivery to IDF), currently status "destination scan" at 5:36 and nothing happens from this point.
My scheduled delivery is "End of the day" as well.
hope they deliver them earlier than expected. 🙂
Too bad. I have a 42mm SS BSB sitting in processing since 10/4 at 9:02.
I was hoping to have it charged today for a monday delivery, but I'm afraid that we'll have to wait longer. 🙁

Hi to all,
My Watch 42 'Classic Buckle' arrived about 10:30. Much smaller than I feared it could be from some photos so this is great as I have small wrists. (Given that it looks and feel right, I didn't even open up the 38 i also ordered and have requested a return). It's well crafted as is typical with Apple devices.
I have the classic buckle which, frankly, although well put together with a nice metal bits etc etc, the leather is VERY mediocre imho. It feels more like cardboard or a thin rubber. They really should have lower prices for these bands...
The quality and finish of the watch and integration with the phone is typically very good. A bit sluggish at times though... the early reviews were right..
Now, as to whether after a few days ill get sick of it and wonder what all the fuss is about: we'll see! It's not very easy to move around on the watch with fingers. I think it'll end up being a lot of passive interactions - notifications - more than actually doing stuff with it myself.
Hope you guys all get yours very soon.

Having got mine i feel a total jerk for the sake of you guys still waiting! it's much nicer when we all get them on the same day. If it's any consolation my jumper keeps covering the watch so i can't see it and it's about as much hassle as getting my phone out each time to look at it 😉

I see people in US and CA having received charges and delivery alerts for wednesday next week.
Apple! Europe is waiting!
The funny thing is, that by the time it will arrive here I will be in California, and nobody will be able to get the package... Frustrating... 😡

I'm actually living near Marseille (Aubagne) these days - so no real excuse! Today the weather has been fairly grim by regional standards, but ... soon it';ll be warmest 😉
