Nobody knows how the new iPhone will be in regards to durability outside of a case. Yet everyone is already wanting to stuff these beauties into a case? On top of that, pay $30 for a "bumper" not knowing how well it even works to begin with?

Ok. Whatever works for ya If the bumper bands work good and last, I guess they MIGHT be worth it. However if they are cheap rubber bands that fall off and do nothing more than add color - probably a bad thing.

FWIW you can order a the same TPU plastic in the form of a case that protects the entire phone on eBay for about $27 less, shipped. Paying $29 for a .50 ginormous rubber band is in-sane, and a SJ's private joke on what lemmings some of you can me. You can also get screen protectors for a $1 shipped. Mine are on the way. Should be here by launch day, same as last year.

$29 for a piece of rubber I will wait! I bet there will be bumpers on ebay in a month for $5 each from china. which is probably these come from. they should throw one in free with the phone. probably cost is less then 50 cents to make.
