Ordered 2 hours ago from ATT and NO comfimation email Yet

    I ordered from ATT website 2 hours ago and have not received a confirmation email yet. Anyone else in the same boat?

    Login and check your wireless order status.


    It shows up there for me. :)

    +1 Same here.

    I haven't gotten an email confirm yet either.

    You can also check your upgrade eligibility date (mine is now in year 2012)

    Also check your bank / credit card. I have 2 charges ($1 and ~$650) pending transactions.

    I ordered from ATT 2 hours ago. I just got an email telling me that they could not verify the cc I used. The thing is I know its valid and has funds available. Better check to make sure it shows up in your online banking.

    It says backordered on the wireless order status, think that's cuz its pre order?

    Got the same thing. Calling AT&T now.

    So lame. Was just about to go to sleep.

    My order with AT&T went through, they already charged my card already and their site says: Order status is "in progress", Qty Ordered 1.

    it also says QTY 1 & QTY Back Ordered 1

    Same here. I got an error at the final step of check out, but my card was charged. The order check says processing, ordered 1, backorder 1.

    Wish I would have been patient and waited for the Apple store to come back up. I'm just going to forget about it and when it comes it comes.

    I couldn't agree more Squall... I hate ATT... seriously especially after this... If it is indeed back ordered and I don't get it launch day, so help AT&T......

    My new date is 11/16/2011, but my card does not show a charge yet.

    I'm getting a bad feeling ...

    yep we're screwed... i just checked my other ATT account, it doesn't say back ordered.

    I called AT&T (Their website is down as well) at 866.391.0479. Thats there online sales line.

    They confirmed my order was in and gave me the order #. He said they were having trouble sending out email.

    I placed my order through ATT Premier this morning at around 7:12AM and received my email at 7:14AM with an order number and everything. It also gave me an activation number to use when I get the phone. It shows that I have a 32 gig black iPhone 4 on back-order along with "various SIM" and "FREIGHT".

    same here i ordered at 6:20 am this morning and still dont have a confirmation email.

    Alothough when i go to AT&T website it says my order is in progress

    I have no charge on mine eiterh, though I do have a email confirmation and order number. Number does not show up in order status though.

    ATT Online, not premier.

    Ordered mine at 6:09AM EST. Have the printed receipt which apparently means jack **** to them.

    1. Had $1 taken out of my account...not remaining balance.
    2. No Confirmation email.
    3. Order status from AT$T shows nothing available.
    4. Upgrade status hasn't changed.

    I really hope this does not turn out to be some huge issue. Called AT$T about an hour ago and the rep couldn't figure it out said she'd call back within two hours. I'll update when, better yet if, I hear something. What a total fail today on everyone. You'd think 4 years later they'd have figured this nonsense out.

    I broke down and called my credit card bank to check for charge attempts...

    AT&T authorized my card for the full amount right at the time I placed my order.

    He said it would not show on my account for up to 48 hours, but they tapped me for about $323.00.


    So, just no email confirmation for me.

    Finally after 2 hours on the phone I got an answer as to my order. Again the only thing I had from them is my printed receipt from att.com but nothing else was showing anything was processing. In the end they said my order was in the system and was processing and that some orders take up to 24 hours to be placed. I guess I just got awful luck and all those that had instant confirmations just happened to go through quicker. I would suggest to anyone that hasn't heard anything yet and accounts aren't showing any existing orders to call and verify that the order is actually in the system and processing just to be sure.
