Things went well. Obviously the little Mini Mac M4pro is impressive. Monitors are wonderful. Funny thing the ups delivery person scared me. I seen the truck and went to see if I could get my delivery. He said sure and brought a few packages. I did not see the one from apple so I asked if there was another one that was my new computer. He went back and returned and said no computer back here, but I did find another small heavy box :). He was real interested how that tiny box was a new computer...

What is the best system monitor for the m4pro? TY

One issue that I cannot seem to fix is that the internal 10gb ethernet port stops or disconnects randomly and that stops my Time Machine backup to my NAS. Also noticed that when viewing my security cams. Error message in TM says that the network disconnected.

Works fine with a gigabyte external usb-c adapter. Also the intel iMac with a 10gb port worked fine.

DOH

I use Istat menus, I like them as they have a nicely customizable interface and the metrics show up on the menu bar. An open source alternative is called Stats, and there's also iStatistica Pro, its more of a traditional window instead of widgets or menu items.

Ok I finally made headway on the 10gb Ethernet port. I set the router for a reserved IP and manually entered the info in for the ethernet port. I was able to back up to NAS which took a couple hours without interruption.

Loving this setup !! Very happy with the MM M4pro and especially the BenQ monitors. Wondering if anyone has noticed that under load the automatic fan setting stays at 20%? I was doing some work in iMovie and noticed max cpu temp normally at 127f jumped to 167f and the fan did not adjust. I manually turned it up to 50% and the max cpu temp came back to 130f. My old I9 iMac fan would increase noticeably at 150f. Does this have something to do with the M4pro chip maybe? TY
