    I guess it's just for Apple so they know what power cords, keyboards etc, you need.

    It just basically allows them to give the correct power cord, keyboard and documentation.

    Such as in the UK, it says something on the lines of COUNTRYKIT-GBR (GBR Standing for Great Britain)

    Just as an FYI - Apple gouges for RAM, Hard drives etc. I'll typically buy the RAM in particular from a 3d party vendor and install it myself. For my Mac Book Pro, kinda stuck with a drive from Apple as I don't want to install a new primary drive but I opted for the 7200 RPM driver over spending $$ on the faster processor.:rolleyes:

    When the new Mac Pros come out (Hello Apple .... anybody Home??) I'll add the secondary drives and slightly update the RAM so I get 2 gig modules. This frees up some slots and makes the RAM I get usable without having to throw it all away and start from scratch.

    no actually it means US rather than Albania or similar
