Ordered my iMac!!

In any case, after checking my order status 6 times a day to see if the iMac had gone to "Prepared for shipping" yet, I've just resigned myself to the fact that it'll come when it comes. This computers gonna be my main machine for 4 -5 years, what's an extra few days of waiting? (or a week for that matter :mad: )

edit: I just noticed we have the exact same orders.. High-end imac with the wireless mouse as "BTO" ( :rolleyes: ) ordered on the 5th and being shipped to Canada.

I don't know either, I guess they're not as in demand as other Macs out there, it is after all the most expensive one.

With you on that second paragraph, for me it was more like 10 times, lol, whenever I could, and as of today it still hasn't shipped or "prepared" either. :( It'll be my main machine for about that long too, then I'll need to get a new more awesome one, which is why I CAN'T wait one whole week for it to arrive. :rolleyes: :eek: :)

woot Canada! What part of Canada are you from? I'm in Montreal. ;)

And did you receive your iPod Touch as expected? :)

I've picked up the 3.06 with the NVIDIA 8800 GS 512 mb card.

You should soo go for it, or maybe I'm biased, seeing I've hated every ATI product that's ever come with my many computers in the past. :eek:

I figure if apple knows when they're going to update them, they can afford to have extra systems during the middle of that iteration's lifespan seeing as they stop producing them at the appropriate time to make sure most of them are sold before they are updated. That's why I think it might be the 8800 GS that's hold them up... or they're getting ready to update :eek:

I'm in Ottawa. My ipod touch is sitting here in it's sealed box tempting me to open it instead of selling it.

There's no way Apple's gonna update now, according to the Buyer's Guide, we're mid-cycle so don't worry about it. :)

I was going to see the Touch too, but gave in and gifted it to my mom, she's never had an iPod before and I got a chance to play around with it a bit. :p

BTW, iMac's prepared for shipment! Should be shipping out by Monday! :D

Mine also! And now begins the constant checking to see if it ships out over the weekend.

I've never been so impatient for anything to arrive in my life, well, besides some Coldplay tickets I ordered a few weeks ago. :D

Hang on fellow Canucks, we can get through this, hopefully. :( :apple:
 
There we go, it shipped. Now begins phase 3 of the process--obsessively checking the tracking information.

It's coming from *gulp*, California, why can't Apple have a manufacturer up here too? :(

I think they just sent the boxes to California so they could swap our mice. Although it'd be a nice surprise if it was in fact manufactured in the US.

Also, I didn't know fedex had stopped giving ETA's on their tracking pages :(

That's true, and a good assumption, but still, you'd think they'd have some wireless mice up here too. :rolleyes:

And my ETA (yours is probably similar) is TOMORROW by noon! :eek: I am so going nuts, I thought it would take at least a few more days...what a nice surprise.
