For both my gaming machine and my Macbook Pro 2011 i7. Ouch! But I am sure it will be well worth the cost. Is there anything I need to look out for or do before installing this model? I didn't want to have a unreliable OCZ product so I went this route. I over nighted them to my work so I get it by tomorrow.

I had a 128gb Vertex 2 OCZ in my gaming rig and it died last night. My boss had the same one in his and it died 3 months ago. OCZ customer service stinks and takes forever to replace anything. So I am going to get a RMA replacement and sell that good one to help recover the costs. And per the OCZ forums many are saying stay away from OCZ due to so many failures!

Good choice. Like eC1990ho said, firmware 2 is necessary.

Will do. Actually already created the CD with the ISO on it so I am ready to boot from that in both the machines. :)
