Hi

Ordered the Hermes SB SS with Noir Single Tour and Noir Jumping. I have always had the SS Watch or the Ti.

How will the Hermes differ? Will the bands loosen over time? Is the jumping initially stiff?

I have had the leather link band of the ML. Are the Hermes bands superior?

I only use the stationary bike for very light exercise (no sweat). Can I use the Hermes bands or should I use something else?

If I wanted to use a ML band, what matches?

I got three years of Apple Care Plus. After three years, can I convert to monthly?

Should I keep my Silver SS S7, as I can’t trade it in until the fall?

Thanks in advance.

Not to be rude, but isn’t all this something you should have researched before buying? Hermes watches are not cheap.

To actually answer your question, the Hermes watch gets you 4 extra faces that aren’t available on the regular Apple Watches, the space black finish (which became an Hermes exclusive with Series 6), an exclusive Noir sport band included, an extra year of warranty included, and some Hermes branding on the back of the watch.

Don’t have a jumping band so don’t know how they start out. The leather band should not stretch out and will last a very long time if properly cared for.

Not sure what you are referring to by ML (Milanese loop maybe?). But Hermes leather is on another level compared to Apple’s leather bands. The Hermes bands are hand made in France.

You could use the jumping band (though I personally wouldn’t given its high price). Your Hermes watch will come with an included sport band as well.

Assuming this is the Milanese loop, for an exact match you need the space black loop. Apple no longer sells this finish. But it can fairly easily be found on sites like eBay. The currently available Graphite Milanese loop will be close, but not an exact match. Be aware that the space black and graphite Milanese loops are capable of scratching the both the space black finish on the watch and the sapphire crystal screen itself. Be very careful taking the loop on and off if you buy one.

Don’t know for sure but I think so.

Are you planning to keep using it? If not, you will get much more money for the watch selling now on a place like eBay or swappa than trading it in to Apple in the fall. Apple’s trade in values on the watch are a joke. Even if you decide to hang on to the silver until the S8 comes along, I would still sell it rather than trade it in. This is doubly true for the Hermes watch whenever you decide to get rid of it. Trading in an Hermes to Apple is like lighting several hundred dollars on fire.

they are stiff at the edges - at first, I had an issue threading the "arrow" part into the keeping thread. But I hope it will get easy with time
