Ordering iPad 2l; how is the wait

I'm going to order my iPad 2 today since I sold my original version to help pay for it. If I order today, how long is my wait? Here's are 2 places I'll order from:

B&H Photo (to avoid tax and shipping)
Apple.com

Apple is about 3 weeks to your door at the moment

Yep, that's normal practice for B&H. They've done the charge-at-time-of-order for years and years. They remain one of the premier places for professional and prosumer camera equipment.

As to being able to tell you when they'll have your ipad to ship: Apple doesn't tell them how many of what models will be in each shipment. I suppose they could *guess* but not sure that'd be useful info. JMHO.

my girlfriend ordered me one on the 13th expected to ship 27th and deliver the 3rd of june :|

the anticipation is about to kill me however i have no idea what i need an ipad for but what a great gift...

does the capacity 16g 32g or 64g have anything to do with how fast it ships?
she got me the 64g😀

this will be my first apple product :| i dont even own an ipod... i completely despise apple but i think shes trying to change my mind
 
Friend just got his white 64g wifi version today. He ordered it the second day it was out. The estimated date kept on being pushed back which was kind of lame.
 
Check your local best buy and apple store person.
Both times I got an ipad2 the same day I went looking for one.
Once at the Apple store. 2nd time at Bestbuy.
 
I reserved from my local Best Buy over a month ago. They haven't received any 32GB in that time. I also ordered from Apple directly more then 2 weeks ago. They haven't yet shipped either. 😕

I have been. Let's just say the 3G Verizon version isn't selling very well.

I am looking to get one in a couple weeks - is there suppose to be a good amount of supply soon?
 
Ordered a 16gb WiFi last Friday from Insight.com and just got it today. I got lucky and they had just gotten a shipment in from Apple. we have a corporate rep so it makes ordering from them easier
 
Try local walmart and target. I found mine Monday night using walmart online inventory tool. Store 10 miles away had 4 in stock.

Ordered from Apple Store Korea - 5th May
Website at the time quoted 1 -2 weeks

Order confirmation stated Ship Date 23rd May

iPad shipped 19th May
Estimated Arrivel:- 21st May (Shipping China to Korea)

32GB 3G & WiFi White Model
 
Just ordered one from Powermax because of no tax and free shipping. They also don't charge your card until it ships.

Anyone know how long they usually take?

The VZW branded if you will is all over the place around me, AT&T is 4 to 6 weeks. You mite want to check local colleges bookstores, they seem to have them, although its a supply issues there but I know the one where I got mine and have a 32 and 64 gig on order at , there looking the same time fram of 4 to 6 weeks but apple has said that in the past come monday morning fedex is unloading the whole order at once because supposedly colleges are at the top of the feeding frenzy which makes sense.
