Ordering the 6 from the UK Apple store

So I'm gonna order the 64GB 6 from the store. Unfortunately there is now a 3-4 week wait.

My question for anyone who has already ordered is can I cancel prior to the phone being dispatched? Will my credit card be charged in full as soon as placing the order?

I'm hoping that over the course of the next couple of weeks I can pick the phone up elsewhere but want the back up of ordering in case I can't.

Your thoughts would be appreciated.

It's dead easy to cancel. I've cancelled one today already. Money won't leave your account until the phones been shipped. Even if you take delivery you can return free for full refund.
