Ordering Tmo or unlocked 5SE? Anyone order from Costco?

Recently switched from Metro PCS to T-Mobile and buying the fiancée s 5SE to replace her 5S. Is there any major difference to order sim free vs the tmobile version? Tmo said they would unlock after 45 days of service.

Also anyone order from Costco?
