Origin of the Finder's icon

    I remember when the new icon came out (though I'm fuzzy on whether it came out with the launch of System 7 or the announcement of OS X), and the buzz about it focused on whether you were supposed to think it was one face or two. I don't recall any mention of Picasso. It's the kind of thing you'd think Apple would play up. Although it was part of the Dark Period.

    I always imagined it represented the friendly interface, a feature the Mac is well-known for.

    I always thought it, too, but you know that Steve Jobs is not a normal man, anyones can think what he thinks... (i'm sorry for my english, but i'm italian and i don't know english very well)
