Original Air 2008 1,1 worth it?

Why would you spend almost $500 bux to increase SSD space for a laptop that's probably not worth $400. You could just buy a newer machine?

OP- did you end up buying this? Seems like a decent deal...

edit: upon loooking at the video for the product in mention.. I do see what you're talking about.. but still don't know if I'd spend that much money to upgrade something so old...

As other posters have pointed out if this going to be your main computer, avoid it like the pest.
But if you only need it for portable work as a backup it would be fine.

But the 2010 is a far better machine IMO.
