Original Box Required for Trade In?

I have a Series 6 Apple Watch that want to trade in for a new Series 7 (tomorrow).

Must I still have the box that my Series 6 watch came with?

Apple trade ins don't require anything but the watch itself. Don't need to send the box, cable, charger, or even band.

They send you a box to mail it in.
