I know split screen won't work but can you drag and drop files to the dock to load them in apps?

I think Apple should have dropped the original iPad Air from getting iOS 11.

It already feels a bit clunky and slow-ish on iOS 10, and is memory starved. I doubt iOS 11 will improve things; they'll likely get worse, like the iPad 2 on iOS 9 which is near-unusable.

IPad Air 1 has the A7 processor,64 bit same as iPhone 5S. So , no, it shouldn't have been dropped

Running iOS 10 on a mini 2 (essentially the same guts as an Air 1) isn't slow at all! Is it as snappy as my Air 2? No, but it's certainly no slouch, nothing like an ipad 2 on iOS 9.

My fiancé has iOS 11 on his Mini 2... same as the Air 1.... runs fine. Like someone else mentioned, not as good as the Air 2, but it’s definitely usable.

Yep. This. Honestly, I feel like Apple should've dropped support for A5 after iOS 7 albeit I realize they couldn't due to contractual obligations.

A7 devices (IPhone 5s and IPad Air) are pretty slow on iOS 11. Its so laggy and buggy . I am really impressed ! I thought that IOS 11 would run well on 5s!
