Im considering buying the original iPhone from my buddy who upgraded to the 3G. I already have an ATT account, and I am currently 8 months past the end of my 2 year contract. My sim card has a 3g symbol on it so I think its the most up to date one i can have. anyways, if i do buy it, when I plug the phone into my computer and bring up itunes will it still give me the option of activating it? Or do I have to go to the store for that. and also, if i can do it from itunes, will it give me the simple option of adding the 20$ iphone data plan to my new 2 year contract? is there an activation fee? is there anything else I have to do?
