I have the original MacBook Air 2008 for collection.
But as “the thinnest notebook” at that time, Steve Jobs introduced it by pulling it out of an office envelope.
I was wondering if anyone know where I can get those envelops now?
I think the one Steve used is kinda special as it has red string and button.
Appreciate any help.

Those are standard inter-office envelopes. Pretty much any office will have them. Probably get them at staples.

Actually, I remember sliding my 13" MBA into a standard A4 envelope, and realising that a padded envelope was a very good way to transport the computer inside a briefcase. Of course, in the eyes of some, it may well have lacked that "cool" factor, but it was practical and affordable.

I still have my 2012 Air in a cheap "envelope" looking case from Amazon. Never forgot the commercial for the Air.

Likewise, I must say.

The original Airs were overpriced and underpowered, but I fell in love with the form factor at once, and promised myself, that as soon as the specs were decent (the original Air came with a mere 64GB SSD drive) and had been improved, I would treat myself to one.

Once the specs were indeed improved, I eagerly bought my first MBA (the old "Rev C" with 128 GB SSD) in 2010, and have had nothing but Airs ever since. A brilliant computer, beautifully designed, fast, reliable, portable.
