Original Soundcard Settings on a MacBook?

Hello!
I've been tinkering with some external audio equipment on my MacBook and I'm trying to figure out what original settings were on my Mac Book. I can't figure out input and output audio.

Also, does anyone know what my sound settings would be if I had a DJ mixer plugged into my USB drive on my MacBook? I've been messing with the soundcard options and I think I screwed some preferences up.

You're going to have to be more specific. What settings are you messing with? What's not working?
