Hello people,

I have been struggling with my itunes library for a while now.....

... i have a bunch of orphaned tracks, my itunes folder has songs in it that are not in my itunes library, i pretty much want my itunes library to sync up with my itunes folder without having to delete my itunes library file!

how do i do this?

is there a program that can do this for me? like "itunes library updater" on the windows side?

this is on a mac, by the way,

thank you!

Yeah, go to your preferences>advanced and click off "Keep iTunes folder Organized". Close your preferences and open it back up and click this button back on. Now iTunes will scan through the music folder and organize everything neatly.

If this isn't the problem you are talking about, then in your music folder view by kind and select all orphaned music files (not in a folder) and drag them into iTunes. If the files do not get organized into folders then refer to part I wrote in the beginning.
