Hi guys! Sorry for the wait. I stayed up for the iPad announcement at 2am because of the 16-hour time difference (including daylight saving). Was so knackered I was late for work! Had to stayed up at office to clear some workload hence, which explains why I haven't got the time to do up the wallpapers accordingly.
'fraid not though. I'll be back home soon and will fulfill the requests after a shower.
I understand there are gonna be tons of people who will want their wallpapers redone due to the introduction of Retina Display. That's to be expected. To make sure we streamline the whole process, I have decided to just offer the retina wallpaper solely, since it's the universal one compatible for both retina and non-retina iPads, offering only benefits and no shortcoming. So there's no need to specify "oh I want a retina wallpaper" etc in the future; it will be a standard in this thread.
I have a few ideas using this iCloud wallpaper design on an entirely new wallpaper sets in a day-to-day scene, featuring futuristic functions of iPads, which I will offer for comments in a near future post. So please stay tune for it.
For those who have their non-retina wallpapers made previously, you would notice several differences between the two if you scrutinize the two versions up close. Being an architect and a designer myself, I'm greatly influence by Mr Jobs' design philosophy; which is to make everything as perfect as possible, even those elements that are invincible to the naked eyes. Therefore, there is no better place to show my appreciation and missing for Mr Jobs than in this thread by embracing the same philosophy he fondly fought for.
I hope you will like this wallpaper, but wish even more you can see the reasons and philosophy embodied within, because that is what made the Mac community a tightly-knitted cult, and all because of one single human being:- Steven P. Jobs.
I wish all of you well, and see you all later.
