It was never about how much profit there is, but a question of principle with regards to blatant ripoff of another's work without prior consent, while the only job the profiteer would do was sit around requesting wallpapers from me, and handing them off for a couple of buck. It's a grossly inappropriate behaviour and disrespect for the creative work done by an individual who's offering it as a gesture of goodwill, free-of-charge for all the iPad lovers around, not to mention hogging the thread with multiple new accounts, thus taking up precious time which otherwise would be spent fulfilling requests from honest and decent members. If only I have lesser dignity than such individual(s), I would be charging it myself. Then again, I'm not.
Anyone who is "fluent" in Photoshop is welcome to take any wallpapers from this thread and modify them. That wouldn't be difficult. Therefore suffice to say having my working files is moot. Moreover the working files have been posted all along during the earliest existent of this thread, only taken down because I feel my generosity was not rewarded.
The reason some may like the look of my wallpaper template may be because I put in a certain amount of effort creating it. Thus, if anyone thinks it's easily to replicate, and never worth the trouble of ripping it off because it isn't worth a few buck, I totally agree. But then again one should remember people around the world have murdered for less than that. Hence any respecting and capable individual should exercise his own valour and creativity in making a version of this wallpaper himself, or allow me to customize it for them, instead of insinuating mediocrity of my work which I offer free to the members here. The very fact someone "fluent" in Photoshop likes the look of my mediocre work is oxymoronic, and speaks volume of his own calibre.
Please respect my work. If you need them to make a living because you need a quick buck or two or starving, no problem. Just ask... politely.
