I have an album which is in "two parts". I bought the CD and ripped it (13 tracks), then found that the version on iTunes has four bonus tracks so I bought those individually. With OS 2.2.1, all 17 tracks show up on the iPod as a single album.
Since upgrading to OS 3.0, the album appears in the list twice. Both copies contain the four bonus tracks, and nothing else. If I search for one of the first 13 tracks then it shows up, but if I try to play it then it skips straight to track 14.
Has anyone else seen this issue? I've restored with no luck, and even tried to reinstall 2.2.1 (unsuccessfully, I keep getting error codes but I might research it better if I can't get 3.0 working properly).
