Someone may be giving me their watch with OS 5 beta on it. Can I downgrade to OS 4? Thanks.

Or wait for a public WatchOS release that supersedes the beta then remove the beta profile.

They said they would in the letter they sent with the watch (which I couldn't find) - but it turns out on arrival that they installed 4.3.2

I don't get your point. You said "they returned without doing so" but they also "installed 4.3.2"?

If you upgraded to watchOS 5 beta and they returned the watch with 4.3.2 then it means they had downgraded for you.

Yea confusing.

  • Send watch in to have beta removed.
  • Apple sends back without doing anything.
  • Now has 4.3.2.
