OS 9.x question

    I am a PC user. However I used to have an application that looked and operated just like the quick launch bar in the bottom left of the screenshot below. If someone could refresh my memory of what that 'application bar' is called I would be very grateful. Thanks

    The Control Strip. It was a control Panel in Classic OS.

    Looking at that screenshot makes me realize how much I don't miss OS9.

    Ditto. and to think I wasn't too impressed with OS X the first time. It was so new and different.

    what program was it

    I used to have Where in the World is Carmen Sandiego? and Mad Libs, which would say whatever you wrote in the story, in that very generic computer voice, it was awesome!!

    If I remembered the name of the application I wouldnt need to be asking in here, now would I?
