OS Beta 4: How do you shut an app down??

If you press the home key the app goes into the multitasking bar thingy, which you then have to shut it down from. Surely there's an easier way, or are all apps destined to live in the multitasking bar??

Press and hold on an app in the multitasking bar and it should display a minus sign to close down

We really need a FAQ on this. Al these questions about the exact same thing are getting ridiculous.
