OS compatible with adobe CS6?

    Need to upgrade to new imac but also want to run adobe cs6. Is anyone running cs6 on the latest mac os?
    If not any info on which os i should target?

    CS6 works fine with 10.12. The area you are most likely to run into issues is with Indesign. If you don't care about InDesign you should be fine. Now keep in mind CS6 is an EOL product so you are playing with fire. If you make your living off of Adobe products, then the upgrade to CC is probably the better bet long-term.

    Don't want to pay for the subscription method. CS does all i need. Just need a reliable system to run it.

    Your safest OS for CS6 is like 10.8 or some such. At this point if you are buying a new machine, and you want to run CS6 then your stuck with the experience you get. I haven't seen too many issues with CS6 on 10.12 except InDesign as I said, but that doesn't mean you won't encounter bugs.

    Most of the issues are with Indesign crashing, or hanging and having to be force quit.
