I believe this was the last version of Snow Leopard 10.6.7 on DVD. Lion could be acquired on a USB stick, but not a DVD.

The last OS X version sold by Apple on optical disk was Snow Leopard (OS X 10.6.3)
Lion was available for a limited time on USB (no DVD from Apple), but since then, all are downloads.

Does anyone know what version of Snow Leopard is on a DVD that you can still purchase from Apple? I don't think that Apple ever released anything newer than 10.6.3 - but I haven't tried to purchase a new one

As far as I'm aware it's still 10.6.3 (grey "OEM" discs excepted).
