You've got to be kidding right? If not, you may want to ask Sun about their "J2.1E R5.4.90 v.9.5.44 alpha"

I'm deadly serious, it must be those impostors from Microsoft like the one we saw at the start of Jobs' keynote.

Still no fix for the Core Audio Firewire driver issues? Come on Apple! How many years will it take you to fix this?

I know that a beta is included in the Firewire SDK but it's a beta and it doesn't work perfectly, and does nothing for certain interfaces. Besides, the beta has been there for a while, you could have easily made it ready for release by now.

I thought creative people was Apples main target.

Why on earth would you be so paranoid about an system update? I mean...maybe if it was from MS...but I would never expect an official "Update" straight from Apple to fry my computer lol

Updates can break things. Anyone that is both traveling and dependent on their laptop is wise to heed that advice.

74.1 mb for my dad's brand new Core2Duo MacBook (on at the moment).

Would tell you what it is for my MacBook Pro, but it's in for service .... again

Then my friend you must not have been around during the GREAT 10.2.8 UPDATE...

Apple released that update and then a lot of people were left with $1000-$3000 paper weights on their desks and laps. What was it folks, 2 days later???? that Apple released Ver 2 or 10.2.8 to fix the pulled update.

Ha, I had just wondered this morning, "I wonder whatever happened to the 10.4.10 seed a few weeks ago...?" There's my answer. 😛

Could anyone confirm if this fixes some problems left by the Safari 3 beta?

I know some people had problems with Microsoft Messenger, but I would like to know about Adium's chat transparency...my message windows hate being solid 🙁

What's the big deal about a .10 update? It's not like those are decimal points. If that were the case, the mere fact that there are two of them would've been sparking debate years ago. Why now?

They're just separators, like those in an IP address. Nobody craps their pants over those. And there are EVEN MORE OF THEM!!!

Should my "Universal Access" icon look like this in System Preferences?
