OS X and G3 iMac

    Anyone have experience running Tiger on a G3 iMac?

    my 500iMacG3 runs 10.3 ok... haven't tried tiger

    Yeah, this is an important question. Tiger is officially supported on 400 mhz and up machines (though I suspect it would run on the architecturally indentical 350 mhz machines since they only reason they don't qualify is because of their lack of firewire). Tiger is not supported on the tray loading 233-333 mhz machines.

    On supported machines, it should run decently provided you have lots of ram. I haven't heard of anyone saying tiger was slower than panther on these machines.
