OS X and W7 files

    Hello i am about o buy a Macbook Air 2012 . I am a windows guy many years and i would like to see the osx and apple products. To the question:

    i will mainly use office suite for college. if i create/modify a file for example doc,docx ,ppt on W7 will i be able to open it in OS X ? and the reversed. or i will have to make something in order tha to be done ?

    Office for the Mac and Office for Windows are compatible
    Shouldn't be a problem

    It will work, but I'll tell you right now it's flaky. I've had issues with spreadsheets and powerpoints. I opted to install Office for Windows and avoid the hassle.
