I would be interested in hearing recommendations for a good OSX Book. I dont like the Dummies ones for a variety of reasons, one of them being the difficult to read text. I am looking for something a bit above the basics.

I like the layout of the Mac OSX Simplified Series for their layout and graphics and clear text, but they are too basic.

    Thanks

What do you think of David Pogue's "Missing Manual" series? Still too basic, or better?

The reviews I am seeing are good, so I will check them out.

    Thanks

I never read any of the dummies books, but was curious as to the Quote above. When you mentioned the text, is it the size? or the wording.
