Hello Everyone,

I'm in charge of setting up a mac mini as a file sharing server for a small business and I'm looking for the best software options.

The main constraints are as follows.

1) Cross platform capability.
2) Ease of use is very important.
3) Our ISP blocks regular FTP ports. Frankly, I also had trouble setting it up and recommending good clients to our users.

We are currently using old (OOoold) Hotline software. It is a small program, cross platform and the additional features (chat, news, etc) are nice. But this software is old and a bit wobbly. I would like something simple and stable.

I'm hoping that this wonderful community will be able to point me in the right direction.

Thanks in advance!

Transmission is great for torrents but I'm looking for something that can give people access to a library of files. Basic folder structure is probably the way to go.

People will be downloading files, editing them and uploading them again.

Thanks again.
