Hi - on my MBP (on VMWare) it says "is not a valid virtual machine configuration file" when I try and open my VM which contains a Windows XP machine. What's the solution? Thanks all.

It sounds like the VMX file might be corrupt. This happens in a normal VMWare environment as well. A quick Google led me to an article that might be of help to you. Just remember to backup everything before you start tinkering.
