os x lion gesture problem help!

when i was using my macbook, it freezes up. and when it recovers i found that mission control(including swiping between desktops), launchpad and expose gestures aren't working anymore,even after i restart. this cause a lot inconvenience. can someone help me please? thanks.

model:mid-2010 macbook 2.4GHZ

Does it also happen in another, even temporarily created, user account?

Have you looked in System Preferences>Trackpad>More Gestures and make sure that the boxes are checked??? Hope this helps

problem still unsolved

the box are all checked clear! i realized that it was switched to four-finger gesture,i change it into three-finger. but every time i restart, it was changed back. but no big problem anymore. thanks🙂

Your welcome, I knew it had to be something in system preferences. It is strange however that it keeps changing back every time you re-start I'm not sure why either.
